How to Catch Fish Using Pond Pro Scorn

Fishing is a fun and relaxing pastime that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. If you're looking to fish in small water, one of the best ways to do so is by using Pond Pro Scorn

How to rig Pond Pro Scorn:

Step 1: Choose the right equipment. Before you start fishing, you'll need to make sure that you have all the necessary equipment. This includes a fishing rod and reel, line, hooks, lures, and bait. It's important to choose a fishing rod and reel that are appropriate for the type of fish you're trying to catch. We recommend, a light to medium/heavy-action rod, such as the Douglas LRS.

Step 2: Locate the fish. To increase your chances of catching fish, it's important to know where they're likely to be. Look for areas where the water is deeper and there are plenty of underwater structures such as rocks, trees, or weed beds. These areas are often good spots to find fish.

Step 3: Choose the right bait. The type of bait you use will depend on the type of fish you're trying to catch. Common baits include worms, minnows, and crickets. For small water fishing we recommend our Scorn and Sqworms.

Step 4: Cast your line. Once you've found a good spot to fish, it's time to cast your line. To cast your line, hold the rod vertically and use a flick of your wrist to send the bait out into the water. Make sure to keep the line tight as you cast to avoid tangles.

Step 5: Wait for a bite. Once your bait is in the water, it's time to wait for a bite. Keep your rod in a vertical position and watch the line closely. If you see a bite, quickly pull the rod back to set the hook.

Step 6: Reel in the fish. Once you've set the hook, it's time to reel in the fish. Use a steady, even pressure to reel in the line, making sure not to pull too hard and risk breaking the line. If the fish is putting up a strong fight, use the rod to tire it out before reeling it in.

Step 7: Release the fish. Once you've reeled in the fish, it's important to release it back into the water as quickly as possible. This helps to ensure that the fish remains healthy and can be caught again in the future.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully fish with Pond Pro Scorn. Whether you're an experienced fisherman or just starting out, fishing is a great way to spend time outdoors and enjoy the beauty of nature. Happy fishing!
